Dynamite canyon

This place is a long ride away on a beautiful trail through some crazy rocks, I mean rocks like the size of whales and larger.  This is the ride you want to trust your horse to take care of you.  Lady and the Tramp are awesome on these kind of rides.  They are like little 4 wheel drive (4 hoof drive) machines.  I love riding her in this kind of terrain because I know she likes technical riding, it's her specialty.  I can tell she is getting older when she takes a nap at lunch and is happy to just walk along all day without me having to be on her brake a lot.  Either she is maturing FINALLY or she is just getting older and smarter.  I like to think of aging as just getting smarter not older.  Anyone out there agree with me??

 Al and Duane riding in the river.  Oops, not that kind of river, out here it's called a WASH.  Not sure why since whenever we are in THE WASH it is just a DRY SANDY DITCH.  We like the wash though since as you can see, no rocks.  See Al's face here and how he doesn't look too happy.  This is a normal Al face but inside I know he is smiling as big as the sun!  You just have to ride with him to know this.

 So this is a kind of a normal sight out here if you ride out far enough.  These humungo rocks just sitting on a mountain of other humungo rocks and there will be just one perched at the top.  Cool isn't it?
