Off to see my sister Kim and help her move, we drove from Tucson to Kanab, Utah.  What a beautiful drive.  Get ready to see the many faces of Arizona.  This is roosevelt lake.

29 again

Yup, I turned 29 again on March 4th.  Here we are on our Sushi date.  I had a great birthday.  Everyone here spoiled me rotten for 4 days straight and I loved every minute of it!

Yes, I did a girly girl thing and got a manicure for my birthday!  I know you can't believe it that's why I took a picture.  That is our winter home in the background.

Horse Motel Part 2

The cowboy's left their cookery behind, we found pots, pans and a coffee pot.

Lady is standing tied right beside the old fire pit.  Notice there are trees up here, I mean real trees that give shade and shelter.

Not sure how they got these water tanks up here since there aren't any roads...

The Long Lost Horse Motel

I am standing at Dorly's Horse Camp pointing to where we are going to ride this day.

First Stop, a drink at the local cattle pens. From left to right is Harold, Deb, Al,  Ray, Margie and Bobe.

We made it!  We left at 8am which is chilly here in Catalina and made the Horse Motel by 11:15am.  An uphill climb almost all the way, the horses were glad to get here.  There is an old wire corral, some cooking pots, a couple of water troughs, a spring for water and other little things they needed to camp up here when they were rounding up the cows.
